FINALLY (it’s been a while) we can say that The Durham Ox is ready to open. We have been working extremely hard to ensure this venue makes Shrewley proud and we can’t wait to invite you all back through the doors!

We have been working tirelessly over the last few months to develop a unique and inviting space for our visitors. Our aim is to maintain the comfortable family setting but, we have added some extra special touches, giving our customers a reason to hold this venue in high regard.

We have taken advantage of every inch of The Durham Ox and created a vibrant look that is sure to stand out. We have sophisticated aspects throughout the venue making it perfect for intimate dinners, group functions and special celebrations. However, we have made sure to keep that cosy, inviting feel with a rustic edge to ensure The Ox is just as suitable for spontaneous family meals and the ideal stop for all you hard-working people.

Our show-stopping addition to The Durham Ox stands in the wonderful plot of land attached to the venue. Not only have we revamped the outdoor space with a magical terrace, we have also added the fabulous tipis designed to deliver extra special weddings and large functions and events.

Of course, we understand that The Durham Ox is not all about looks. We have prioritised substance just as much as the beautiful aesthetic of The Ox. Our brand new food and drinks menu is set to satisfy many an appetite. We have some delicious options that are hard to refuse, whether you are looking for wholesome dishes or more alternative cuisine. The all new Durham Ox is here to create an experience like no other.
